Company Overview

Fanimal is a technology startup in the live event ticketing industry, headquartered in Santa Monica, CA, and operates across two main business branches:


Secondary Marketplace: Reselling tickets for all types of live events across the U.S., integrating with ticket aggregators like Live Ticket Network and Ticket Evolution via API.

Organizer Platform: A comprehensive platform for event organizers to create, manage, and sell tickets for their events, with built-in tools for marketing campaigns, customer data management, and add-ons.

My Role

As Director of Product, I’ve led multiple high-impact projects, focusing on both strategic decision-making and hands-on product design. My responsibilities span the full product lifecycle, from defining the vision and roadmap to managing cross-functional teams and designing the user experience in Figma.


Key Projects

Secondary Marketplace App

Overview: This platform allows users to browse, compare, and purchase tickets for live events across the U.S., integrating with APIs from ticket aggregators such as Live Ticket Network and Ticket Evolution.

My Role: As the product lead, I oversaw all aspects of development and feature prioritization. I also contributed significantly to the user interface and experience, ensuring that ticket discovery, purchase flow, and customer engagement were seamless.

Impact: The app has reached over 100,000 downloads, with significant growth in user engagement and ticket sales. The streamlined design and optimized ticket discovery process contributed to high user satisfaction and retention.

Organizer Platform

Overview: This platform empowers event organizers to create and manage their own events, sell tickets, and execute marketing campaigns (via email, SMS, and push notifications). The platform also allows organizers to manage customer data, add-ons, and track sales.

My Role: This product didn’t exist before I joined Fanimal. I led the entire project from the ground up, designing the platform in Figma, managing the development team, and collaborating with stakeholders to align the product vision with business goals.

Impact: Launched a robust platform that generated a new revenue stream for the company through service fees on tickets sold, empowering event organizers to handle all event logistics in one place.

Organizer App

Overview: A mobile app designed for event organizers to handle on-site ticket sales, guest check-ins, and ticket validation through QR code scanning or guest list management.

My Role: Led the product design, wireframing, and prototyping in Figma, and managed the development process, ensuring the app was intuitive and reliable for event organizers.

Impact: Streamlined event day operations for organizers, improving the check-in process and providing a more organized ticketing system at live events.
